Activities Coordinator

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a dedicated Activities Coordinator to join their team in providing care and assistance to individuals in need. The role involves supporting clients with various interactive activities and ensuring their well-being at a day care centre.

Duties:

Support clients with dementia with individualised and person-centred care, such as enabling clients to participate in social interactions, meaningful and purposeful activities. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in caregiving or a similar role
  • A compassionate and patient approach towards those in your care
  • Knowledge of health care practices and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in childcare or nursing is advantageous
  • Familiarity with patient care and hospice care practices
