Responsibilities

Managing the L&D function, supporting training activities, and key projects. Your role is vital in training and developing individuals across various subjects, ensuring the workforce can adeptly meet evolving business needs

Requirements

  • Lead learning strategies and programmes across the organisation
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of mandatory training through various mediums
  • Collaborate with the wider business to assess individual and organisational development needs using the company appraisal procedure
  • Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops, PDPs, KPI training, and other required sessions with the help of trainers and system trainers
  • Innovate and implement diverse learning methods business-wide, from job shadowing to online training
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues and external training providers
  • Evaluate, develop, and manage induction training processes alongside Departmental Managers
  • Establish processes for managing Training records company-wide
  • Provide monthly progress reports to the Line Manager and, when necessary, to the wider business, highlighting training effectiveness and areas of implementation
  • Evaluate training and induction programmes to ensure compliance, continuous improvement, relevance, and engagement, working closely with training staff

Experience and qualifications:

  • Possession of relevant certifications such as the CIPD / Certificate in L&D is advantageous
  • Proven experience in learning and development roles
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, showcasing effective team management skills
  • A track record of successful training program design, implementation, and evaluation
  • Proficiency in utilising e-learning platforms, learning management systems (LMS), and training technologies
  • A motivational approach with a strong solutions-based approach
