Position: Building Manager

Location: Printworks, London, SE17 3BZ

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 0900 - 1800

Salary: £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Development Details:

This role will be situated in our beautiful Printworks residential development, located on Amelia Street SE17, to the west of Walworth Road and to the south of Elephant and Castle. PrintWorks is a mixed-use development comprising 164 residential units and commercial units.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

As a Building Manager at Rendall & Rittner, you will:

  • Have experience working in the residential block management sector as a Building Manager, Head Concierge or Security.
  • You have experience carrying out site inspections, ensuring any remedials are actioned accordingly, incident reporting and ensuring statutory compliance.
  • You'll be someone who cares passionately about creating a positive, clean, and safe environment for residents, guests, and any visitors.
  • You have experience managing contractors and third-party contractors, ensuring health and safety requirements are adhered to and relevant documentation is in place.
  • You'll be an expert in dealing with any onsite emergencies or maintenance related issues.
  • You have experience managing major works, this includes getting quotations from contractors, reviewing RAMS and managing daily operations etc.
  • You'll be a true expert in customer service, who uses this to engage, communicate and inspire others.
  • You have a good eye for detail and experience conducting regular development inspections, reporting any defect and/or health and safety concerns, cleaning, and maintenance (internally and externally).
  • You will be comfortable with regular interaction with law enforcement and managing challenging situations.
  • You have excellent communication skills and the ability to present / report to our client on a regular basis, updating on onsite operations.
