JN Bentley are looking for additional mechanical and electrical engineers with strong experience working on MEICA projects to join our team, working specifically on projects in the Northumbrian Region.
You will be working on various mechanical and electrical projects within water & wastewater, treatment plant, flood defence along with general design and build commercial M&E projects for our Northumbrian Water Framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full commissioning services including full documentation, carrying out commissioning activities and manage supplier / contractor commissioning. Attend Factory Acceptance Testing, String Testing where applicable and assist the project team with project completions
- Be involved in assisting designers develop new and refurbishment works for a large building portfolio and processing and manufacturing facility
- Involvement in the installation and commissioning of projects from design to conception and interfacing with clients
- Work within the team of MEP engineers to develop best practice, a strong health & safety environment and value for money
What we'd like from you:
- Experience of installation & commissioning in utility or commercial building sectors
- Experience of working to electrical procedures, including providing Electrical Permits
- Experience with planning the commissioning process
- Good fault-finding skills with a meticulous health and safety approach is a core requirement for the role
- Working to safe systems of work including producing and reviewing third party Risk Assessments & Method Statements.
