Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer to join our team. This role involves a blend of on site workshop repairs which is based in Northampton and traveling to our customers to maintain, repair, and service a wide range of industrial cleaning equipment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and have strong technical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair various industrial cleaning machines.
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing of equipment.
- Provide on-site support and technical assistance to clients.
- Ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
- Capture correct client data and make updates to jobs in "real-time" including pictures and videos where necessary.
- Assist in the training and support of customers on equipment usage.
- Be able to obtain correct part numbers from exploded parts diagrams and maintain van stock levels.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a field service engineer or similar role.
- Strong technical skills in diagnosing and repairing industrial machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A good level of physical fitness that will enable manual handling, such as lifting heavy industrial battery packs etc.
- Experience in the safe use of standard hand tools, electrical tools, lifting equipment and hot work equipment.
- Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude.
- Good IT skills and competence in using a tablet.
- Valid UK Manual driving license.
Experience:
- Mechanical & Electrical: 2 years (required)
- Repairing Cleaning Equipment: 2 years (required)
- Repairing Pressure Washers: 2 years
- Language: English (required)
- Full clean manual driving licence (required)

Schedule:
- 7.5hr shifts - 08:30am - 16:30pm
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
