We, at Simpson Judge, are working with a leading regional law firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services. We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Legal Secretary to assist one of the Equity Partners.

Job Summary:

As a Legal Secretary to an Equity Partner, you will provide administrative support to the Equity Partner, ensuring the smooth operation of their busy practice. You will be responsible for managing the partner's diary, coordinating meetings, and preparing legal documents, as well as providing exceptional client care and general administrative support.

Responsibilities:

-Provide administrative support to the Equity Partner, including managing their diary, coordinating meetings and appointments, and ensuring timely preparation of all necessary documents.
-Prepare and proofread legal documents, including correspondence, contracts, and other legal papers
-Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including electronic files and databases
-Provide exceptional client care and communication, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and dealing with client inquiries
-Coordinate with other team members to ensure efficient case management and timely completion of tasks
-Assist with billing and time recording procedures
-Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
-Perform other administrative tasks as required, including photocopying, filing, and data entry

Requirements:

-3+ years of experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role
-Strong understanding of legal procedures and terminology
-Excellent organisational and time management skills
-Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
-Experience with case management systems and billing software is an asset
-Personal assistant experience is beneficial but not essential
