Quality Assurance Officer

Reed Scientific are recruiting for a Quality Assurance Officer to play a key role in ensuring our client's laboratory's quality processes and practices are up to standard. This position is ideal for someone with laboratory experience looking to transition into a quality-focused role, ensuring a flexible, efficient, and robust laboratory service. This is a fully site based role, with a primary focus being checking prep sheets as they are generated.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Routine checking of data produced within the laboratories.
- Identifying and leading improvements to current procedures and documentation.
- Collaborating closely with Team Leaders and analytical teams to create report templates for assigned projects.
- Maintaining proactive and reactive communication within and outside the department to facilitate effective completion of work.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- BSc in Biochemistry/Chemistry or a related scientific discipline is desirable.
- Proficient practical laboratory and problem-solving skills.
- Good IT literacy.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey processes, results, and key messages effectively.
