Recruitment/HR Administrator

Fantastic opportunity to join a highly successful financial services organisation and work in the recruitment and onboarding team. Our client hires regularly each week and needs a highly organised administrator with excellent attention to detail.

This role could suit an experienced administrator or someone looking to start their career in HR/Recruitment. Our client will support study for the HR support apprenticeship level 3. Our client also offers excellent career opportunities.

Your role:

  • Issue employment contracts and onboard new starters
  • Support with pre-employment vetting i.e., Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks, right to work checks, credit checks, references, and other relevant compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of the recruitment and onboarding Excel tracker
  • Support the Talent Acquisition team and with recruitment and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) administration
  • Respond to queries via the recruitment inbox and HR Service Portal, ensuring all queries are responded to and resolved within the agreed timeline.
  • Review and approve invoices from third party suppliers
  • Contribute to the delivery of recruitment projects and the continuous improvement of the recruitment function
  • General administration duties such as, checking invoices, filing, archiving, and GDPR compliance

The person:

  • Experience of working in a customer service environment e.g. office, retail or hospitality
  • IT literate and confident working with different systems for various processes e.g.MS Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Possess strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Grade 4 or above GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent
  • Able to work effectively under pressure to tight deadlines, with strong attention to detail
  • Have a flexible, adaptable approach and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Possess an enthusiasm to develop, improve and enhance the service provided.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and integrity at all times

Desirable

  • Work experience within an HR, Recruitment or administrative environment
  • Experience of using systems e.g. Applicant Tracking System (ATS), databases, online platforms
