Service Care Legal are currently working alongside a highly reputable London Borough Council who are seeking a Senior Housing Lawyer to join their team on a contract basis. Please find below further details regarding this position.
ROLE: Senior Housing Lawyer
LOCATION: London
RATE: £50.00 to £55.00 per hour
CONTRACT: 3 months ongoing
Please note that this position would require office attendance 3 days per week.
The Role of the Senior Housing Lawyer
- To mange and progress a caseload of Housing Litigation matters through to completion
- Matters will include homelessness & allocations, possession proceedings (all grounds), unauthorised occupier possession proceedings and injunctions
- To support, supervise and manage more junior legal staff members
The Person
- A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a minimum of 2 years' PQE
- Housing Law working experience within a local authority would be essential for this position
- Experience in supervising of junior staff members would be desirable
