We are seeking a dedicated Administrator to manage our company's day-to-day administrative tasks, ensuring that business needs are met while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our workflows and requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong focus on integrity and customer service.
Day to Day of the role:
- Administer daily workflows and accurately input data into the work management system.
- Compose and type correspondence and letters for the company.
- Compile and present reports on contracts.
- Update the works management database on job progress and attend client meetings as required.
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets (Excel) and other computer packages.
- Handle incoming calls from tenants and councils, and allocate jobs for fitters, referring to the supervisor for nonstandard work.
- Input and extract data from the accounting package (Sage) and assist with data input into the accounting system.
- Support the accounts function as required.
- Maintain the company's reputation when dealing with external subcontractors or suppliers.
- Issue purchase orders to subcontractors.
- Perform any other duties as reasonably requested by your manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrated integrity and a results-focused approach.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Customer-focused with the ability to solve problems effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Sage or similar accounting packages.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in administrative roles, preferably within a similar industry.
