A highly reputable and well known Civil Engineering company are actively looking for a Senior Buyer to join their organisation in Brackley, on a 6-Month Contract basis.
Applicants should have previous experience with subcontract documents and NEC contracts.
This Senior Buyer role will be based in Brackley, to support the Procurement manager for a section of Civil Engineering works managing the tender, analysis, negotiation and award of Subcontract packages.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and make sure that are engaged in the process throughout and endorse any recommendations.
- Effectively carry out smooth communication/negotiations/interactions within the supply chain.
- Prepare and deliver internal presentations to key stakeholders articulating package strategies and award recommendations.
- Adhere to purchasing guidelines and policies to challenge cost, quality, and delivery time
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- Excellent written skills and ability of drafting formal Subcontract documents.
- Experience with NEC contracts.
- Knowledge of Supply chain principles, procedures and methods.
- Ability to manage diverse internal and external stakeholders.
