Procurement Manager
- Contract Length: Until end of March 2025
- Location: Southwark, London (Hybrid - 2-3 days office/2 days WFH)
- Daily Rate: £388.10 PAYE or £522.95 Umbrella
- Start: ASAP
We are seeking a Procurement Manager with a strong background in public sector procurement, particularly within the built environment and civils maintenance sectors. The role involves developing procurement strategies for maintenance and contracts, focusing on areas such as lifts, escalators, civils, and systems.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for maintenance services and contracts.
- Manage end-to-end procurements, especially in construction, capital projects, and maintenance-related procurement.
- Utilise the NEC3/NEC4 suite of contracts, including the Professional Services Contract, Engineering & Construction Contract, and Term Service Contract.
- Engage in stakeholder management, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration with all parties involved.
- Oversee the procurement process, ensuring compliance with public sector regulations and achieving value for money.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong public sector procurement background.
- Experience managing end-to-end procurements, particularly in construction, capital projects, and maintenance-related procurement.
- Practical understanding and knowledge of the NEC3/NEC4 suite of contracts.
- Proven stakeholder management experience.
- CIPS professional standard qualification or working towards it is desirable.
