Landscaper Chelmsford, Essex £120 per day + Career Progression
Our client, a leading specialist within the construction and landscaping sector are currently recruiting for an experienced Landscaper / Grounds Maintenance Operative who has previous Horticulture and soft landscaping experience. This position offers a lot of career progression within the company.
The Commercial & Residential Landscaping Divisions of the company offer a wide range of services, from the delivery of large multi-phase installations to smaller, bespoke works, all of which require ongoing maintenance to the soft landscaping upon completion of the main contract works in Essex and London.
The Role:
- Soft landscaping skills of a high standard (planting, turfing etc).
- Experience with the use of machinery (hedge cutters, strimmer's, rotary lawn mowers).
- Using own initiative to ensure that the highest quality of work is always delivered.
- Daily completion of job paperwork, highlighting any future requirements.
- Ensure works vehicle is kept in good order and all equipment is present and operational.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed.
- Good people skills.
The Candidate:
- Previous employment within the soft landscaping industry.
- Horticulture experience - Preferable but not essential.
- Soft landscaping skills of a high standard (planting, turfing etc)
- Experience with the use of machinery (hedge cutters, strimmer's, rotary lawn mowers)
- Using own initiative to ensure that the highest quality of work is always delivered.
Qualifications required:
- Driving license.
- Valid CSCS card - Preferable but not essential.
- PA1/PA6 - Preferable but not essential
Reward & Benefits:
- PAYE, £31,200 per annum (£120.00 per day), based upon a 9hr shift.
- Overtime rates will apply for night & weekend working.
