FINEX D&O Account Executive

The Role:

This role provides an opportunity to manage and support a portfolio of clients and prospects with accountability for retention, new business development, client strategy & placement. You will manage and develop clients, collaborate across Willis Towers Watson to provide clients with industry leading solutions, and engage with underwriters to derive the best outcomes for your clients. The ideal candidate will have prior experience of client service and preferably placing Directors & Officers Liability insurance for a range of industries and sectors.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Understand the clients' business and risk management needs and look for solutions to deliver those needs through the provision of ongoing service
  • Proactively maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop account service strategies for individual clients in line with BU process
  • Draw on expertise of specialist technical teams within the BU and across the Group for clients as required
  • Support senior colleagues to determine appropriate solutions, structure, price and placement strategies that meet the clients' needs and deliver profitable business for a range of clients
  • Lead and support on individual client programs where appropriate
  • Grow existing portfolio by identifying new, and/or existing opportunities
  • Gather information to understand a client or prospect's business, situations, opportunities, problems and key issues
  • Manage relationships and negotiate placement with the insurance market
  • Prepare client and prospect presentations considering the impact of client profitability

Broking:

  • Responsible for supporting the drive of the sales process and business area practice activity in relation to winning, retaining, and developing profitable new clients with a focus on Private Equity Portfolio Entity and Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs) Companies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to determine appropriate solutions and structuring and pricing the deal
  • Identify appropriate markets and determine placing strategy
  • Create and grow relationships with underwriters in London and international markets
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with Willis Towers Watson guidelines and procedures.

Placement Management:

  • Work with senior colleagues to develop service plans that define the engagement and timing of engagement with the client
  • Understand, apply and where necessary explain the BU policies and procedures, and manage compliant processing of contracts as per FCA and contract certainty requirements
  • Deliver high levels of the end-to-end ongoing client service, adhering to standardised policies, procedures, and service standards
  • Support the BU in accurate budgeting, forecasting, and tracking of revenue
  • Communicate effectively with clients, associates, markets and others where appropriate to maximise service delivery levels
  • Manage KPIs/SLAs to ensure targets are met

Other:

  • Share knowledge with colleagues to help drive a culture of collaboration and development
  • Contribute towards an environment that promotes respect for the individual employee by adhering to the policies and guidelines of the company
  • Support management and Willis Towers Watson in the management of risks applicable to BU
  • Any other duties commensurate with position or level of responsibility

The Requirement:

  • Knowledge of Directors & Officers insurance essential
  • Preferably ACII qualified, working towards or interest in completing the ACII qualification
  • Ability to adapt personal style to work effectively with a wide range of clients, colleagues and underwriters and must be able to forge links between broking and client servicing teams
  • Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to be flexible and innovative
  • Proven track record of high levels of client service
  • Practical knowledge of supporting account development and the appropriate tools to achieve this aim
  • Experience in pricing and designing conceptual programmes in conjunction with client teams
  • Experience of working with and adhering to processes and systems to support client service delivery
  • Comfortable explaining complex concepts and making recommendations to clients/client servicing teams
  • Excellent presentation abilities
  • Ability to assimilate and apply large volumes of information rapidly
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team
  • Able to prioritise, manage deadlines and work under pressure
  • Proficient computer skills relevant to Microsoft Office, Outlook, and web-based applications
  • Must be prepared to work with integrity and openness, complying at all times with FCA requirements.
  • Ability to represent FINEX and Willis Towers Watson with integrity and credibility.
