An exciting position has arisen for a Recruitment Coordinator to join the team at a leading UK charity, dedicated to providing support for children and young people. This a permanent position and will play a key role in the managing the end-to-end recruitment process for residential staff across the charity' services.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Create and post engaging job adverts for internal and external campaigns, using an Application Tracking System (ATS) to manage the application process
- Coordinate interviews and provide timely feedback to candidates
- Support the wider People team with the sponsorship strategy, ensuring full compliance throughout the recruitment process
- Implement volunteer recruitment initiatives in alignment with the charity's policies
- Liaise with universities, colleges, and schools to proactively promote job opportunities, attend job fairs and recruitment networking events as required
- Build collaborative relationships with operational managers within the charity to understand recruitment needs and rota challenges
- Liaise with external recruitment agencies and keep detailed records of agency performance
- Assist in organising new starter inductions, ensuring all relevant departments receive necessary information
Ideal candidate profile:
- Significant experience in managing the full recruitment life cycle
- Direct experience working with children and young people
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with individuals at all levels and from diverse backgrounds
- A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to take on challenges
