My client, who are based in Witney, are looking to recruit a Customer Service Executive to join their expanding, high-performing Customer Service team.

Description

Key responsibilities of the Customer Service Executive include:

  • Customer relationship management.
  • Processing orders.
  • Offer alternative products for out of stock items.
  • Promote new products.
  • Maximise order book fulfilment by liaising with Supply Chain and Warehouse.
  • Be able to give technical information on products confidently over the telephone.
  • Delight customers, above and beyond the call of duty (go the "extra mile").
  • Have detailed knowledge of the customer's requirement.
  • Have empathy for a customer's problem.
  • Think "outside the box" and offer achievable solutions to problems.
  • Be able to communicate concisely and effectively, both written and over the telephone.
  • Handle complaints professionally and aim to resolve the situation amicably.
  • Develop good working relationships with internal departments.
  • Be able to suggest improvements in processes and procedures.
  • Be computer literate (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Ad-hoc administrative tasks.

Profile

The successful Customer Service Executive will:

  • Have previous customer service experience (desirable, but not essential)
  • Have a pleasant and friendly style
  • Work accurately with an eye for detail
  • Be able to absorb training and instructions in order to work independently
  • Be a team player
  • Have an enthusiastic and confident approach/telephone manner
