Due to a recent promotion to Director, this broad Senior Finance Manager position will fill a leadership position, as the 2iC to the most senior Finance person in the International Accounting team. As a key member of the Finance Senior Leadership Team you will lead on strategic Finance projects - and direct projects from idea to completion.

This role is largely project based and doesn't manage any of the BAU finance team or reporting - working on various strategic finance improvement projects during a time of massive investment, and partner cross-functionally to provide accounting guidance on new product launches, business improvements and international expansion plans for a newly acquired $1Bn revenue internationally recognised brand.

The business is hugely acquisitive - so you will get to support various strategic initiatives including serving as a key leader in International M&A integration by understanding and communicating the accounting and tax compliance implications.

Experience needed to be successful in this role:

  • Qualified accountant several years PQE (post-qualified experience)
  • A strong technical background in financial control and process improvements
  • A confident communicator, able to business partner and is confident presenting business cases to Senior Management
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting for international entities in a multinational company - with an understanding of Tax implications of setting up new entities
