Solicitor - Contentious Probate

An award-winning, modern-thinking and successful law firm in Exeter are looking for a Contentious Probate Lawyer to join their established and reputable team. The ideal candidate will have circa 3-5 years' PQE working within the contentious side of Inheritance and Trusts, although we are also considering candidates with slightly more or less experience than this. We are ideally after someone who is commercially aware and who can be a positive ambassador for the firm.

Tasks will include:

  • Undertaking a varied caseload within contentious inheritance and trusts
  • The successful applicant will also be active and innovative in business development activities
  • Running your own caseload while also assisting others in progressing matters
  • In addition to client work, there will be administrative duties, such as assisting with general management of the team, supervision and mentoring for junior members of the team and Lexcel compliance.

Skills and experience sought:

  • 3-5 years' PQE within contentious inheritance and trusts
  • A credible, ambitious personality
  • Someone who enjoys a modern team environment
  • You will have the ability to enhance the firm's clients' experience through the delivery of exceptional client service
