Your new company
You will be working at a university based in Birmingham supporting the business development of business support opportunities for start-up businesses. You will join the team as soon as possible on a fixed-term contract until March 2025.
Your new role
As Business Development Manager, you will ensure business recruitment targets are met and engagement throughout the programme is maximised. You will develop successful engagement strategies and drive success throughout the team. You need to engage all stakeholders through your creative and driven attitude. You will communicate with the wider community to build key relationships. You will work in a fast-paced working environment and develop numerous programmes within the team.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a proven and driven Business Development Manager with experience of working in a dynamic and fast-paced team. Ideally, you will come from a public sector organisation with an understanding of business development within a similar public sector background with the same end goals. You must be able to demonstrate your enthusiasm during the interview and showcase where you have clearly worked towards and achieved targets.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a competitive annual salary of £37,000 per annum and be able to develop within a dynamic team.
