The Year 2 Teacher role is to start Mon 09/09/24 and will be an on-going role until Fri 20/12/24. This Year 2 Teacher role is working 5 x full days per week Monday to Friday 08:30am- 16:00pm. There are 29 children in the class and there are two full-time TAs working on a one to one basis with SEND children. The school would like someone who has previous KS1 teaching experience and someone who has SATs knowledge. They would like to meet with potential applicants the first week back, with a view of starting the role on Mon 09/09/24.

Your role & responsibilities:
- Teaching the children in class, ensuring they complete their work
- Guiding students through the curriculum, marking working, setting home working tasks
- Managing behaviour
- Upholding school's behaviour and safeguarding policies
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons
Non-negotiables:
- You must have relevant experience teaching pupils
- Hold QTS
- Knowledge of the national curriculum
- Be passionate and understanding
- Have confidence in managing classes of pupils
- Excellent organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning
- Good communication skills
