Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Chelsea (full time in the office)

Contract Details: Fixed Term Contract, Full Time

Hours: 37.5h (8:00-4:00 but flexible working hours - 1h lunch)

Salary: 38-40k + discretionary bonus

Responsibilities:

As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations within the company. Your main duties will include:

  • Managing the day-to-day financial activities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Conducting regular financial analysis and providing insights to support decision-making
  • Managing the budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Providing guidance and support to the finance team
  • Multi-currency and multiple daily bank reconciliations
  • Processing and paying supplier invoices.
  • Credit control
  • Liaise with accountants for VAT returns & year-end.
  • Recharge invoices
  • Inbox monitoring and actioning.
  • Credit card reconciliations
  • Ad-hoc duties as required e.g., filing, secretarial assistance.
  • Journals
  • Payroll journals
  • Month-end management accounts
  • Year End preparation

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Advanced experience with QuickBooks Online
  • Strong knowledge of financial management principles and best practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Qualification in finance or accounting, such as ACCA or CIMA

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Experience in managing a team
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of retail-specific financial regulations and standards

Technologies:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
