Paid Media Specialist

Our client is a fast-paced media agency, with a track record of delivering high performance campaigns. They are on the lookout for their new Paid Media Specialist to join the Digital team.
You'll be responsible for guiding a select group of clients toward online success. Clients are in a variety of industries including Education, fashion, e-commerce, travel, hospitality and more. You'll craft strategies, implement campaigns, optimise performance, and analyse results across various digital channels.
Key Responsibilities of the Paid Media Specialist:
- Technical Account Onboarding: Implement pixel tracking, conversion tracking, event tracking, and custom audience creation. Set up data feeds and integrate with CRM/analytics platforms.
- Advanced Campaign Management: Develop and execute multi-channel paid media campaigns across platforms like Google Ads (Search, Display, Video, Shopping), Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Snapchat, TikTok, and programmatic platforms.
- Data-Driven Optimisation: Continuously monitor and optimise campaigns through A/B testing, audience segmentation, and bid management strategies to maximise ROI.
- Daily Ad Operations: Day-to-day building, monitoring, and optimising digital ads across various platforms, including Meta, Google, Snapchat, TikTok, and more.
- Performance Reporting & Insights: Create detailed reports, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on campaign data.
- Technical Consulting: Collaborate with account managers to provide technical guidance on website optimisation, landing page development, and tracking implementation.
- Proactive Growth Strategy: Identify new growth opportunities, including emerging platforms and technologies, to expand service offerings and drive client success.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Remain up to date with the latest digital marketing trends, algorithm updates, ad formats, and targeting options.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience managing medium to large digital media accounts (in-house or agency).
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Google Ads (including scripts and automation), Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other web analytics platforms.
- Platform Expertise: Proficient in various ad platforms, including Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Snapchat, TikTok, and programmatic buying platforms.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights to drive campaign performance.
- Client-Focused Approach: Ability to understand client needs and translate them into effective digital strategies.
- Technical Understanding: Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website optimisation best practices. Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress and Shopify.
- Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive & Collaborative: Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
