Job Overview:

Our client is a leading provider of industrial equipment, is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Quality Administrator to join their team in Chesterfield. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the company's quality management system, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting the quality team in driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Documentation: Maintain and update all quality-related documentation, including policies, procedures, and records in compliance with ISO standards and company protocols.
  • Audit Support: Assist in preparing for and coordinating internal and external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is up-to-date and readily available.
  • Non-Conformance Reporting: Monitor and track non-conformances, deviations, and corrective actions. Ensure timely resolution of quality issues by collaborating with relevant departments.
  • Data Management: Collect, organize, and analyze quality data to generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support the quality team in implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Supplier Quality: Assist in monitoring and evaluating supplier performance to ensure compliance with company quality standards. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Customer Support: Handle customer complaints and queries related to product quality, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions.
  • Training: Assist in organizing and delivering quality-related training for staff, ensuring that all employees are aware of quality standards and procedures.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a quality administration or similar role, preferably within the manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sectors.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS), particularly ISO 9001 standards.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with different departments and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with data management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve company objectives.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in the valve or process equipment industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) or ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management) standards.
  • Previous experience with ERP or QMS software.
