As a Production Support Operative, you will supply assembly kits to production to the current production plan.
To give you an idea of how this Production Support Operative role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
- Make sure all stock is in the correct location and the quantity is accurate
- Store stock in an appropriate position and suitable for effective retrieval
- Ensure stock is stored in a safe manner so it cannot cause harm
- Pick kits to the current Production plan to enable the Assembly Department to build units on time
- Book out all parts to the correct project or cost centre in a timely manner
- Serve at the stores hatch to handle requirements for adhoc parts
To apply for this Production Support Operative role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:
- Operational Grade A, foundation
- Ability to operate overhead gantry cranes and act as a Banksman to safely manoeuvre vehicles on site
- Chemical Hazard Awareness training required to be completed
