Sales Development Rep - first step into Technology Sales

Sales Development Rep is a crucial part of our new business high-performing sales team and first step into technology sales. In this role, you will be responsible for uncovering and developing qualified opportunities through creative and engaging outbound prospecting for our Sales Team.

Responsibilities

New Business Development:

  • Create new business opportunities to drive our company's growth.
  • Engage with key stakeholders at target accounts within a set sector.
  • Advocate for our solutions

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the new business development managers to ensure smooth hand-off and a positive experience for our future customers.
  • Provide feedback and insights from customers and the sales team to help improve our products and business strategies.

Prospecting and Outreach:

  • Make sure you achieve your monthly business development objectives
  • Perform daily prospecting activities including pre-call research and planning.
  • Connect with prospects via phone and follow up with previous contacts to nurture leads.
  • Utilise social selling techniques to engage prospects.
  • Maintain and update Salesforce records diligently.

**We Are Looking For Someone With

  • At least 2 years of proven excellence in business development or account management.
  • Who wants to progress into sales within 9-12 months.
  • Focused, self-motivated, goal-driven and curious personality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional presence when engaging with high-level executives.
  • Ability to manage tasks independently and achieve target numbers for contacts and opportunities.
  • Ideally BA/BSc degree.
  • Do you live within 30 minutes of Reading
