Credit Control Assistant

Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage your own aged debt ledger, ensuring timely payment from customers.
- Raise invoices and chase customers daily to maintain a healthy cash flow.
- Collaborate closely with managers and directors, providing frequent updates on aged debt reports for transparency.
- Work in tandem with the Invoicing team to streamline processes.
- Resolve queries efficiently, maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Assist with the preparation of management reports and participate in ad hoc project work as directed by the Head of Finance Operations.
- Liaise with the Accounting team at Head Office to ensure cohesive financial management.
- Support the integration of Credit Control tasks for new acquisitions, contributing to the smooth expansion of the business.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Credit Control position.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various finance teams and departments.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables and lookups.
- Familiarity with financial systems, Access Dimensions is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A flexible, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to work.
