Sheridan Maine are supporting a growing global Manufacturing business, who are seeking to expand their current finance team by recruiting an experienced Management Accountant to join the business.
Reporting into the Head of Finance the Management Accountant will be a diligent ACCA/CIMA Qualified or a Qualified by Experience Accountant. This key role involves preparing monthly management accounts, analysing financial data, and supporting the internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile and consolidation of the monthly management accounts.
- Balance sheet reconciliations and month end close.
- Preparation of monthly sales and cash flow reports.
- Complete returns and assist with annual budget preparation.
- Liaise with auditors for annual audits and ensure integrity throughout.
- Perform financial analysis, including month-end accruals and currency exposure.
- Maintain a range of project codes and tracking of costs.
- Conduct productivity, Costing and KPI impact analysis.
- Prepare margin reports and analyis of costs.
- Adhoc duties as required.
Requirements and Personal Qualities:
- ACCA/CIMA qualification or QBE with considerable work experience.
- Experience working within an international manufacturing business.
- ERP/MRP systems, Advanced Excel, Reporting and Analysis in multi-currency environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work well in a team, with integrity and adaptability.
- Excellent numeration and systems skills with a methodical approach.
