Are you a SEND experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a new role from September 2024?

Horizon Teachers are working with a brilliant SEND school based in Westminster. They are looking to appoint an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work with and support students with autistic spectrum disorder and non-verbal needs.

You will be working with students aged 5 - 19 years old.

The Opportunity:

  • They support young people who have missed out on schooling by a significant amount, due to help develop them to become socially and emotionally ready for the next big step.
  • Working with other services and professionals to help students engage with learning and helping them access the opportunity of provision.
  • The staffing will be a combination of familiar tutors, new professionals and visitors. This will help the students have a wide variety of safe places and trusted adults.
  • Start date April 2024 to run until the end of the academic year in July 2024, on a full-time basis, and could potentially rollover into the following year.
  • Pay rate £90 up to £125 per day.
