Temporary Fixed Asset Project Analyst

REMOTE WORKING
£150 per day - 4 months

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for someone with experience with a busy fixed assets register. for a temporary remote role, offering £150 per day. If you have a solid finance background, particularly in Fixed Asset accounting, and are eager to contribute to a significant project, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fixed Asset Register Review: Cleanse and review the client's Fixed Asset Register to identify duplicate asset components, obsolete items with residual value, and opportunities for asset consolidation.
  • Manual Asset Reconciliation: Evaluate and integrate assets currently managed outside the asset system into the Open Accounts Fixed Asset Register, ensuring full reconciliation.
  • Collaboration with other teams: Work closely with the client's Third-Party Software Support Team to manage potential mass disposals and re-uploads.
  • Work in Progress (WIP) Backlog: Address and clear prior year and current year WIP related to component accounting.
  • Reporting Automation: Automate reporting processes for all fixed asset data, ensuring that the Annual Financial Statement on Fixed Assets is accurately produced in a downloadable report format.
  • Service Charge Solution Implementation: Assist in the implementation of the client's new service charge solution.
  • Additional Tasks: Complete any additional tasks as advised by the client's manager.

Person Specification:

  • Finance Expertise: Significant experience in Fixed Asset accounting is essential.
  • Systems Implementation Experience: Preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Excel Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to manage large datasets with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on effective solutions.
  • Time Management: Capable of managing workload under pressure with excellent time management skills.
  • Initiative and Teamwork: Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and maintain effective communication with the client's manager, as well as collaborate within a team.
