Assistant client portfolio manager - ACA or ACCA final level or recently qualified

Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a top twenty nationwide accountancy practice, for an assistant manager to join their Hampshire team.

A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Practice trained
  • ACA or ACCA finalist or recently qualified
  • Experience of a general practice role, including dealing with SME business clients, including accounts preparation, management accounts, vat returns, personal and corporate tax.
  • Competent to prepare files ready for manager or director review and the confidence to deal directly with clients to clear queries and to offer advice appropriate to your experience and ability.
  • Excellent knowledge of Xero and Sage.
  • A desire to solve problems and to take on challenging tasks.
  • Experience of supervising and developing the skills of more junior colleagues.

The salary for this position, depends upon experience and qualification level, but is expected to be in the region of £35,000 to £45,000. The role is full-time, office based, with occasional travel to clients and other offices throughout the Solent and Hampshire region.
