It's a varied role incorporating monthly management accounts production, reporting, forecasting, analysis, budgeting, payroll, systems, and process improvements and lots more. It has the potential to grow into a Finance Director role in the future. The post offers hybrid working with 2-3 days remote working per week.
Managing a small team and reporting to the MD the role takes responsibility for:
- Monthly reporting and consolidations for several entities
- Balance sheet control and reconciliations
- Management of team
- Cashflow forecasting
- Business partnering operations directors on budgets, spend and costs
- Budgeting and variance analysis
- Payroll
- VAT
- Process and systems improvements
- Banking
- Financial modelling
It could suit someone with accountancy preparation experience looking for a move from practice into industry or someone with varied experience already in industry. Prerequisite experience for the role includes consolidations and reporting as well as budgeting and forecasting.
