Contract Lead

About the Role:
As a Contract Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading a portfolio of operational client services contracts, ensuring they comply with best practice and meet contractual requirements.

You will be required to develop your skills and expertise and be a key point of contact for your portfolio of contracts for managers and commissioners. You will demonstrate a strong understanding of individual contractual and performance requirements, to identify and mitigate risks, problem solve and provide updates to senior colleagues to ensure contracts are compliant and deliver value for money.

You will provide high-level of contract support to review and streamline current systems and processes, liaising with both operational senior managers, performance, and finance teams.A

As a key member of the Contracts and Performance team you will provide wider governance support to other operational contracts, Lead Provider subcontractor contracts and new opportunities including tendering and procurement of subcontractors.

Reporting directly to the Manager, Contracts and Performance you will work within the CFO function supporting the overall integrity of contracts, support decision making and deliver an exceptional experience for our clients, tenants and commissioners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on all contractual governance processes for retrospective portfolio of contracts.
  • Undertaking high level contract management support, including updating contract logs/Matrix's, undertaking contractual document reviews, associated billing arrangements and collation of due diligence documentation.
  • Develop specialist knowledge of Southdown's LD Contracts and Frameworks, acting as a key point of contact.
  • Provide wider governance and compliance documentation support for operational, Lead Provider contracts and new business opportunities
  • Liaison with commissioners and Subcontractors regarding portfolio of contracts and completion of new contracts.
