We have registered an exciting temporary opportunity for a proactive and motivated candidate to move into an interesting site-based role!
Working at this internationally celebrated company, the position will combine both administrative and hands-on activities. It will be essential that you are happy to do both aspects of the position. This role will require a can-do attitude and a ‘no job is to big or small' approach!
Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis. The role will start quickly, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.
Temporary Facilities Assistant Responsibilities
As the Temporary Facilities Assistant some of your duties will include:
- Responsible for end-to-end project management of contractors and temporary staff, ensuring that site Health & Safety requirements are met
- Responsible for contacting internal and external customers/suppliers
- Access administration, issuing cards and granting access to controlled areas in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and authorisation procedures
- Provide support for all general department activities including help desk enquiries, meeting room bookings, filing and placing orders
- Planning and organisation of own workload for all reactive works and planned activities
- Responsible for all daily re-configuring of meeting and conference room layouts
- Responsible for setup work and support of company events
- Responsible for all minor office and equipment moves where required

Temporary Facilities Assistant Experience
It is essential the successful candidate can demonstrate the following:
- Full Driving Licence
- Experience in a role which involves facilities administration
- Good level of IT literacy including familiarity with MS office and use of e-mail
- Experience in planning and prioritising workload
- Sufficient knowledge or experience to confidently undertake tasks such as assembly of office equipment and furniture etc.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Confident enthusiastic self-starter able to work independently or as part of a team
- Customer focused, with excellent interpersonal skills at all levels, both verbal and written
- Able to undertake significant and regular manual handling tasks safely with care and attention to detail (the role involves heavy work that is demanding physically)
- Ability to work flexibly and under pressure to meet deadlines
- Good organisation skills
