This is a permanent full-time role with hybrid working and flexible working options.
The Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying tax planning opportunities and delivering consultancy services to clients across all areas of personal tax.
- Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients and ensuring compliance with HM Revenue & Customs and in-house deadlines.
- Assisting with client queries and providing ad hoc advice where requested.
- Billing personal portfolio clients after work completion.
- Dealing with correspondence, telephone calls, and arranging and attending meetings with clients and potential clients.
- Assisting partners and staff members with technical queries.
- Providing assistance to junior members of the team where appropriate.
- Assisting in the preparation of technical reports in relation to income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax.
- Dealing with HMRC correspondence, telephone calls, and enquiries.
- General support to the tax team as required.

About You
- Experience within a private client tax team.
- ATT qualified, ideally working towards CTA.
- A self-starter with a high level of resilience and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong aptitude for IT - able to pick up new technology quickly.
- Can-do attitude, positive and commercial approach.
- Confident, tactful, and discreet manner.
- Strong team spirit but also effective working independently.
