VACANCY: Senior Employee Relations Advisor
LOCATION: Leeds
SALARY: Up to £42,000
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Employee Relations Advisor to join the team due to continued growth. An excellent opportunity for someone wanting to join a dynamic and vibrant team who work collectively together to achieve the end goal.
Duties:
- Use your knowledge of employment law to ensure best practices across all sites
- Draft and adapt all company policies in line with current and new legislation changes.
- Be the expert in dispute resolution for the company.
- Be visible and present for all managers to support, coach and guide, providing timely advice on all matters and ensuring competent and swift conclusions.
- Track and analyse key data and metrics and provide comprehensive reports.
- Lead employee relations and change initiatives working alongside the HR Manager to ensure clear and concise communication and training are provided to the business.
- Provide guidance and support in TUPE and redundancy procedures.
- Provide support in relation to diversity and inclusion legislation and changes.
- Revise and continuously improve existing tools, policies and guidelines.
- Be a skilled and experienced mediator who can diffuse issues without the need for a more formal approach before they escalate. Using the skills to support and provide guidance and training on conflict resolution for managers and employees.
Requirements:
- Previously worked as an ER specialist
- Desirable to have experience in a similar industry
- CIPD level 5 (must have)
- Experience of tribunals is advantageous
- Experience working in a unionised environment is desirable but not essential
