What You Will Do:
- Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Conduct risk assessments and site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement preventative measures.
- Lead internal training sessions on health and safety practices to foster a culture of safety across the organization.
- Manage and investigate incidents, providing detailed reports and recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and legislative changes, advising the company on best practices and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with various departments to integrate health and safety considerations into daily operations and project planning.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven experience in a Health & Safety Manager role within the manufacturing industry.
- NEBOSH/IOSH certification or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
- Previous experience working on environmental projects and sustainability.
- A proactive, problem-solving approach and the ability to work autonomously.
