Key Account Manager – Healthcare Software

My client is looking for a Key Account Manager to join their team. This role is integral to managing high-tier client relationships and driving the growth of their product. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing customer satisfaction and retention, contributing to increased revenue and overall business success.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-tier clients, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Address and resolve customer issues promptly and effectively, either through your own actions or by liaising with relevant departments.
  • Proactively use social media platforms, such as LinkedIn
  • Coordinate and manage pilot phases for new software releases, gathering and analysing client feedback to ensure successful rollouts.
  • Develop strategies to retain existing customers and reduce churn against set KPIs.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and help them leverage Healthcode/ePractice/affiliate products and services to grow or streamline their private practice.
  • Oversee client subscriptions, sites, and user audits, ensuring accuracy and adherence for security purposes.
  • Manage billing inquiries and coordinate with the Subscriptions Systems Analyst or finance team as needed.
  • Collect and relay client feedback and suggest improvements/new features based on client feedback.
  • Identify opportunities for client referrals from the existing client base and implement referral programs.
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback on market and current trends.
  • Submit progress reports, ensure data is accurate, and manage data within the company's sales management system/CRM.
  • Forecast retention targets and track and record activity on accounts.
  • Provide presentations to existing customers and plan and facilitate meetings at all levels, including face to face where appropriate.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in client relationship management and business development.
  • Strong understanding of different healthcare software's and the ability to drive business growth through its optimal utilisation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems to track sales and client engagement.
  • Ability to analyse feedback and contribute to product development.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks within the healthcare sector.
  • A proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities and implementing referral programs.
