Senior Software Engineer

iO Associates are partnered with a established Fintech brand who are looking for a talented and experienced Senior .NET Developer to join their growing team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our financial technology platform, collaborating with a team of passionate engineers to develop and deliver game-changing solutions.

What You'll Do:

  • Own the entire software development lifecycle for assigned features, from conception to flawless execution.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure .NET applications using cutting-edge technologies (C#, ASP.Net, Azure) Python would be a bonus but not essential.
  • Champion best practices in code quality through code reviews, technical guidance, and mentoring junior developers.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, and other engineers to translate business needs into elegant technical solutions.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of APIs and integrations with third-party systems.

What we are looking for:

  • 7+ years of experience in full-stack .NET development.
  • Extensive experience with ASP.NET Core, .NET 6+, and related technologies (e.g., Entity Framework, Azure).
  • Python knowledge would be a bonus but not essential
  • A strong understanding of software design principles and best practices (e.g., SOLID).
  • Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for the financial industry and the desire to make a real impact.
