MC Personnel has an excellent opportunity for someone looking to secure a temporary - permanent role within the manufacturing industry. Our client, a UK market leader in fire protection, is seeking three candidates for the following role:
Manufacturing Operative
- Setting up and running machines
- Using programs to measure and size client requirements
- Understanding of a manufacturing environment
- Using various tools/cutting equipment
- Manual handling - requiring lifting of product from start to finish
The role will involve working at the manufacturing site, learning how to run the machines and manufacture fire protection items. The working hours vary, but typical shifts are Monday - Friday either 6am - 3pm, 8am - 5pm, or a 6am - 6pm shift Monday - Thursday.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be a bonus but full training can be given.
£11.44 per hour for the first 12 weeks and then after a successful transfer the salary would be £25,000 per annum.
This is a temporary-permanent position, meaning the successful candidate will work through MC Personnel for 12 weeks and then have the opportunity to transfer to our client permanently. Immediate start, CV required to apply.
