Pertemps are recruting for an exciting new role for our busy client based in Slough!

Working Hours

: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (weekend cover may be required)

Salary:

£28,000.00 - £30,000.00 per year

As an Operations Clerk, your responsibilities will include:

  • Data Entry - with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Booking in Jobs from start to finish
  • Arranging Import / Exports from start to finish for all modes (Air, Sea, Road, Courier) – Training will be provided for inexperience modes.
  • Completing Export/Import declarations on Sequoria (CDS).
  • Raising / Completing Export AWB's
  • Sourcing rates and Quoting clients Imports / Exports rates.
  • Arranging collections & deliveries across the UK & Worldwide
  • Completing, uploading, and filing Jobs.
  • Dealing with any general queries Clients, Customs, deliveries, suppliers etc.
  • Booking courier shipments for the UK and Worldwide
  • Using the WMS to organise Pick and Pack orders / warehouse involvement.

PLEASE NOTE: You will be required to assist in the warehouse as and when needed.

Skills and Experience Required for the Operations Clerk:

  • Previous Import / Export experience 1-3 years preferred.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills.Ability to communicate with people at all levels.
  • Team player
  • Be able to drive would be beneficial
