  • Hybrid and flexible working, 25 days holiday +bh's, enhanced maternity/paternity, up to 5% matched pension.We're recruiting a Director of Creative Content for a dynamic media and content team in Bristol. This is an exciting role to lead an internal creative agency team.

What You'll Be Doing

As Director of Creative Content you'll oversee a studio of designers and editors delivering projects across digital, print and video for brands largely in the not-for-profit and membership sectors. The agency has a client base of brands they've worked with for many years that trust them to deliver great work. You'll get to know them and build strong, long-lasting relationships. As an experienced creative you'll help promote innovation with your team and your clients, spotting opportunities to do great work and sell in impactful creative ideas that encourage clients out of their comfort zone. As well as servicing an established clientbase you'll support the team in new business too, art directing for pitches and helping win new clients.

Day to day you'll lead a team of 20+ creatives including designers and editors at all levels of experience. You'll provide design and content direction on projects, mentor creatives and help your team deliver their best work. You'll also help ensure the studio runs smoothly, that you have the right people on the right projects and an extended network of great freelance resource to use when needed.

What experience you'll need

  • An experienced creative, preferably from an agency background.
  • Previous experience of delivering multi-channel creative across digital, social and print.
  • Confident in shaping content strategy and understanding content marketing channels.
  • Experienced in leading, mentoring and managing multidisciplinary creative teams.
  • Fantastic stakeholder management and communication skills, confident dealing with people at all levels of a business internally and within clients.
