Wanted! Controls Engineer for Subsea Sector in Jarrow
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Controls Engineer to join our client's team within the subsea sector located in Jarrow, United Kingdom. The successful candidate will be responsible for PLC programming (Siemens / Rockwell), designing of SCADA/HMI applications, providing excellent client support as well as reviewing engineering designs.
Qualifications:
- PLC programming (Siemens / Rockwell)
- Designing of SCADA/HMI applications
- Design of Ethernet and serial networks
- Manufacture and assembly support
- Technical documentation to support equipment (specifications, risk assessments, manuals, etc)
- Client support - on-site and remote (occasional site travel preferred)
- Peer review of engineering designs
- Experience level - ability to work on projects without direct supervision. 5+ years.
Responsibilities:
As the chosen controls engineer you can expect your day-to-day tasks would involve;
PLC Programming - Developing code using either Siemens or Rockwell platforms.
Designing of HMI/SCADASystems - Creating user-friendly interfaces that allow operators to monitor/control complex systems easily.
Review Engineering Designs - Review technical documentation from other engineers prior submission ensuring high-quality output is achieved.
Client Communication & Support- Providing guidance and assistance throughout all stages of project delivery whilst maintaining professionalism at all times.
Rate: £45-50/hr
