A globally renowned integrator of high-end sound systems and digital signage, specialising in the retail, leisure, and hospitality sectors. With offices in 7 countries and over 250 employees worldwide, we are looking for multiple AV Engineers throughout the UK to join our team and play a key role in delivering first-class AV installations.
Job Purpose Summary:
The AV Engineer will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining high-end audio-visual systems for retail, leisure, and hospitality clients, primarily in Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work independently and as part of a small team to carry out installation and service works.
- Provide guidance and training to Junior Engineers.
- Act as the point of contact on-site for any client updates or queries.
- Maintain contact with the operations team regarding any progress or issues on-site.
- Assemble AV racks, ensuring all cabling is labelled and structured in a tidy manner.
- Lead and train Junior Engineers when required.
- Provide client training on how to use installed systems.
- Ensure accurate completion of any project paperwork.
- Be willing to work away from home when required.
- Maintain a safe and tidy workspace.
- Adhere to health and safety policies.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous experience as an AV installation engineer or similar
- Strong knowledge of audio systems
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to work away from home on occasion
Preferred:
- ECS, IPAF or PASMA certificates
- QSC or Dante certifications
In Return:
The successful candidate will receive a basic salary of between £27K - £35K per annum depending on experience, along with overtime rates of 1.5X. You will also receive a generous holiday package of 25 days plus bank holidays, your birthday off, and the ability to buy and sell up to 5 days of annual leave. A Medicash healthcare scheme and death in service compensation of 3X your annual salary will also be included in the package. All necessary tools will be provided, along with a company van and fuel card to cover expenses.
