Salary: £45,000 + Van and Package

Hours/Days: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Location: Flexible (Minimal office time required)

Company Overview:

Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing company specializing in industrial fit-outs and commercial unit refurbishments. With projects ranging from £10K to £3M, they manage job lengths of 5 weeks to 5 months and have a strong focus on delivering high-quality work across the commercial and industrial sectors. They are seeking a skilled Site Manager, preferably with a background as a joiner, to oversee and manage fit-out and refurbishment projects.

Role Overview:

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction and site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will manage a team of 10-15 people on-site, coordinating trades and labour, with a strong emphasis on Health & Safety. This role is pivotal in maintaining project momentum and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all aspects of construction and site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Coordinate and supervise site personnel, including subcontractors, to ensure a safe, productive, and compliant work environment.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to effectively plan and execute project timelines and milestones.

Monitor and control project expenses, labour costs, and material usage to optimize project profitability.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of project progress, including daily reports, site logs, and documentation for change orders and variations.

Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and permits, including obtaining necessary approvals and inspections.

Implement and maintain best practices for quality assurance to ensure projects meet or exceed client expectations.

Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all site operations.
