The Role

The school is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Business/IT Teacher to teach Business Studies and Information Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4.The successful candidate will inspire and engage students, helping them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Business Studies and IT.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development of the Business and IT curriculum.
  • Participate in departmental and whole-school activities and events.
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A relevant degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
  • Must have UK school setting experience.
  • Experience teaching Business Studies and/or IT at secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Business and IT.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

Desirable

  • Experience teaching A-Level Business Studies and/or IT.
  • Familiarity with current educational trends and technology.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
