The Role
The school is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Business/IT Teacher to teach Business Studies and Information Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4.The successful candidate will inspire and engage students, helping them to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Business Studies and IT.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to the development of the Business and IT curriculum.
- Participate in departmental and whole-school activities and events.
- Provide pastoral care and support to students.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A relevant degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
- Must have UK school setting experience.
- Experience teaching Business Studies and/or IT at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Business and IT.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
Desirable
- Experience teaching A-Level Business Studies and/or IT.
- Familiarity with current educational trends and technology.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
