Role: ServiceNow Developer
Location: Remote with travel to Corsham and London on ocassion
Duration: 12 months
Clearance: SC
Pay: max £600 inside IR35

The Role
You will be an IT professional with several years of experience with the ServiceNow platform. You will work as a ServiceNow Developer with other ServiceNow experts as part of a larger project team delivering a unique ServiceNow service capability.

Responsibilities
You will work with colleagues to:-

  • Design, develop and implement workflows and processes on a secure on-premise ServiceNow platform.
  • Provide value-based assessments and workshops to help the team maximise their business results from the ServiceNow platform.
  • Generate and maintain system documentation that captures the detailed solution design to steer implementation and for subsequent support.
  • Strive to optimise the use of the ServiceNow platform recognising how it can be applied "out of the box" to satisfy the requirements.
  • Use your experience to provide input into the implementation and costs for solution's evolution.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrable experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM)
  • Experience of some of the following Scripting/APIs/Service Portal/Flow Designer, UI Builder
  • Experience of implementing solutions which require integration with other systems.
  • Hold current ServiceNow certification in one of the following: ITxM or CSM.
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management.
  • Familiar with ITIL, SDLC, Prince 2, Agile, Scrum methodologies.
  • Must be a sole British National and hold current SC clearance

Desirable skills

  • Experience with ServiceNow SecOps.
  • Experience of Customer Service Management (CSM).
  • Certified in ITIL V3/V4, Agile, Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience in other ServiceNow products.
  • Working within Public Sector or associated government organisations.
  • Experience of mentoring junior technical team members.
