Homeless Prevention & Assessment Team Leader ~
We are working in partnership with a Local Authority based in Catford who are looking to appoint an experienced Homeless Prevention & Assessment Team Leader
Rate of Pay - £25 - £32 per hour (negotiable on experience - Please state your desired rate)
Hours - Full Time - 35 hours per week.
Contract - 3-6 months with a view to extended into a permanent position.
Location - Catford, SE6. (Hybrid working will be on offer)
Main duties will include the following:
- Ensure the effective and efficient delivery of Homeless Intervention and Prevention services with a focus on homelessness prevention by actively leading and contributing to continuous improvement.
- Act up for the Homelessness Intervention and Prevention Manager in their absence and to deputise in attending meetings and undertaking specific project work.
- Providing guidance, instruction, direction, and leadership to ensure effective and efficient cross-team work to deliver performance targets and service objectives.
- Implement operational service plans, including delivery of our transformation principles of establishing early upstream homelessness prevention, driving continuous service improvement and delivery of projects.
- Ensure all expenditure on temporary accommodation is carefully considered before any placement.
- Take responsibility for financial efficiency for Homeless Prevention Grant.
Experience/Knowledge Needed:
- Local Authority / Public Sector.
- Minimum 3 years statutory homelessness experience.
