Our client is seeking a Head of Finance Systems & Data to join their team. This role is both to maintain the existing finance systems estate and to transform it. The transformation is through being the data owner for Finance and the Finance Systems blueprint and strategic systems roadmap owner. The data owner role is critical in both identifying and solving upstream data issues that impact failure demand to finance but also in driving towards a future data architecture as part of the roadmap. The intent is to keep existing maintenance to a minimum whilst investing heavily in data remediation and systems/data transformation.

What you'll do:
As the Head of Finance Systems & Data, you will be responsible for maintaining and transforming the existing finance systems. You will play a crucial role in shaping the organisation's technology and data vision into actionable strategies. Your responsibilities will include managing team capacity, planning, executing, and managing ongoing projects, understanding business processes to translate them into system requirements, and continuously seeking improvements to processes. You will also be expected to build positive relationships with key stakeholders, lead the development of strategic Systems & Data solutions, and identify continuous improvement initiatives.

- Plan, execute and manage ongoing related projects
- Understand business processes to translate into system requirements
- Seek improvements to processes and establish methods for quality improvement
- Build positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Lead development of strategic Systems & Data solutions aligned with company requirements
- Identify continuous improvement initiatives for standardisation, increased efficiency, cost reduction and increased quality

Your ability to manage conflicting priorities to achieve deadlines coupled with your programme-management ability will be crucial in managing multiple complex projects.
