Job Title: Mobile Plant Operator
Main Function of Job: Manage materials through the Transfer Station by separating, loading vehicles, and transferring materials.
Salary: £29,944 per annum (Incl. LW allowance)
Hours: 36 hours per week
Location: NW10
Responsibilities:
- Separate recycling materials (metal, cardboard, wood, paper, green waste) effectively.
- Load articulated vehicles to achieve maximum permitted weights.
- Support HRRC operations by packing materials in containers.
- Operate various vehicles and equipment competently.
- Communicate with traffic controller to maximize material value.
- Adhere to health and safety policies.
- Report incidents promptly.
- Assist as a traffic controller when needed.
- Perform cleaning duties on-site.
- Maintain physical fitness.
- Be adaptable/flexible as required.
- Undertake additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Competent in using wheeled 360 material handler, loading shovel, and on-site RoRo shunter.
- Experience as a Traffic Controller and operating weighbridges and computer systems.
