The successful candidate will support the directorate team to deliver high quality professional Building Control service. They will support the team manager in having operational management responsibility for staff covering the area, subject to the Strategic manager's guidance for statutory building regulation and associated advisory services for the city council and partner authorities including the exercise of delegated powers.
They will deputise for the team manager as and when required and will support the Team Manager in ensuring that the local authority fulfils its legal regulatory function and national minimum performance standards and objectives in relation to the service area.
